This comfortable 6 night Botswana safari captures the highlights of the beautiful Moremi Game Reserve, the Kwando Wildlife Reserve as well as the unique Impalila Island Lodge, situated where the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers meet, the only place in the world where four countries meet. Activities include game drives, boating, mokoro rides, guided bush walks, river boat cruises, fishing, birding with the highlights being off road game drives as well as night drives.


Itinerary

Maun/Maun Packge

Day 1 & 2:- Moremi Game Reserve Camp

On arrival at Maun airport, guests will be met by a representative and assisted to their light aircraft transfer to Xakanaxa Camp for 2 nights. Game drives are the main focus at Xakanaxa. Boating is also a highlight, mokoro excursions are also available.

Big game, big birds, big water Xakanaxa Camp is one of the pioneer safari camps in Botswanas Okavango Delta. Xakanaxa accommodates only 24 guests in twelve classic safari tents on raised platforms set on the banks of the Khwai River.This biodiversity endows Xakanaxa Camp with a true year round land and water experience. Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Hyena, Giraffe, Hippo, Sitatunga and many more predator and antelope are resident

Day 3 & 4: - Kwando Wildlife Reserve

After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircraft to either Lagoon Camp or Lebala Camp for 2 nights. At Lebala activities concentrate on game drives and walking. At Lagoon, the emphasis is on game drives, guided walks and river boat cruises with the highlights being off road game drives as well as night drives.

Lagoon Camp lies on the shady banks of the Kwando River among tall and ancient African Ebony and Marula trees, under the watchful gaze of the resident hippos.Lagoon Camp accommodates only 16 guests in 8 twin bedded luxury safari-style tents.Lagoon is famous as the best venue in Africa for wild dog viewing as the dogs have denned near the camp every year of the camps existence.Lebala means wide open spaces in Setswana and the scenery is dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannas.The eight spacious tents are unique and were designed specifically for this camp.The wetlands and flood plains around Lebala offer a wonderful variety of wildlife.

Day 5 & 6: - Chobe/Zambezi River

From the Linyanti region, guests are transferred by light aircraft to Kasane airport where they will clear customs. From Kasane guests will take a boat transfer to Impalila Island Lodge where they will stay for 2 nights. Activities at Impalila focus on river cruises, fishing and birding

Our unique island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi, and four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. This is the only place in the world where four countries meet. Impalila Island forms the north-eastern tip of Namibia and lies just 70km's west of Victoria Falls. The surrounding area is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld:- host to exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation - and in the waters outstanding fishing opportunities.

Day 7: - Kasane

After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport in time for their onward travel arrangements. End of services
