This safari offers guests the opportunity to experience Victoria Falls as well as Hwange National Park. Ilala Lodge offers comfortable accommodation and the hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of The Falls. There are many exciting activities guests can enjoy in and around Victoria Falls. Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest game reserve and is one of the best areas for seeing herds of buffalo, elephant as well as predators such as lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah.

2 nights Ilala Lodge & 3 nights Makalolo Plains

Day 1 & 2: Victoria Falls

On arrival at Victoria Falls airport, guests will be met by a representative and transferred by road to Ilala Lodge where they will stay for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

The hotel is ideally situated and is the closest to the Victoria Falls as well as the town centre. The National Park borders the front of property and wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background.

Day 3 & 4 & 5: Hwange National Park

After breakfast and morning activities, guests will take a road transfer back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their light aircraft transfer to Makalolo Plains where they will stay for 3 nights. Activities include game drives and guided bush walks with expert guides.

Makalolo Plains is another of the few private camps situated within Hwange National Park. The Makalolo area is ecologically diverse, including vast, open, palm~fringed plains, grasslands, acacia woodlands, and teak forests.

Day 6: Victoria Falls

After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircraft back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
