Uganda

Uganda is probably most renowned for its gorillas, but there is more to this undiscovered destination. It’s here that the jungles of West Africa meet the savannah of East Africa.

 

The initial attraction of Uganda is its primates, both the gorillas and the chimpanzees. Uganda also has an impressive array of plains animals and bird species.

 

Uganda is conveniently located to both Kenya and Tanzania and is often included in an East African itinerary.

Getting There

The most popular Uganda safari is via Tanzania or Kenya. Most of our clients will do a safari in Maasai Mara, the Serengeti or Selous and then fly to Uganda for a few nights to visit the gorillas.
