Days 1 to 2 - Arusha Coffee Lodge, Arusha

Guests will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport from where they will be driven to Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. Here is where guests will spend their first night of this 12 night beach and bush safari - at Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Arusha Coffee Lodge is small and luxurious lodge and offers a beautiful setting in one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere with elegant interior, brick walls and rich wooden floors, Arusha Coffee Lodge offers a relaxed environment, perfect for the start of an adventurous tour of Tanzania's best safari areas. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and bar area at the lodge, while other activities, including horse riding and mountain bike rides, can be arranged. Guests can also enjoy nature walks on the coffee estate, barbecue dinners, African buffets, and wood-fired pizza meals can also be arranged. A visit to one of the local villages is also an option for a touch of culture.

Days 2 to 4 - Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park

From Arusha, guests will take a scheduled light air transfer to Manyara airstrip, from where they will be driven to their next destination; Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life and breath-taking views; located en route to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Known for its elephants and tree-climbing lions, while it is also excellent for watching flocks of pink flamingos and other fascinating birds in and around the soda lake. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world - a true wildlife destination.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley. It offers 10 stylish tree houses built on stilts offering a peaceful and private experience amongst the mahogany trees. This is a truly unique luxury experience, with elegant and spacious rooms adorned private viewing decks and en suite bathrooms that allow guests to relax in a deep bath or refresh in an invigorating outdoor shower. A fantastic venue for the first 2 nights in Tanzania!

Days 4 to 6 - Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater

After 2 nights in Lake Manyara National Park guests take a road transfer and game drive to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, which is situated on the border of the famous Ngorongoro Crater – a World Heritage Site. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres of pristine African wilderness. At the eastern edge of the Serengeti, and nearly three million years old, Ngorongoro is one of the most perfectly formed and certainly the most spectacular calderas on the planet. This is a truly unique destination that will certainly impress on visitors' memories for a lifetime.

At Crater Lodge, guests will be treated to a combination of modern luxury and traditional old Africa in classic Masai-styled suites. Each stilted suite is tastefully decorated with wooden floors, beautiful silk curtains, hand-beaded chandeliers as well as a cosy fireplace and a butlers lobby. An elegant 2 nights in Tanzania staying in suites boasting viewing decks with spectacular views of the Crater floor as they perch on the very rim of this historical landmark.

Day 6 to 9 - Serengeti Under Canvas, Serengeti National Park

On the 6th morning, it's time to move onto the Serengeti. Guests are driven from Ngorongoro to Manyara airstrip where they will catch a scheduled light air transfer to the Serengeti, and finally, driven to their new camp. Serengeti Under Canvas is a migratory camp with tent locations that have been carefully plotted to coincide with the documented movements of the Wildebeest Migration as it traverses the Serengeti and Masai Mara. Arguably, one of the best mobile tented camps in the Serengeti. The aim is to position the camps within easy driving distance of the migration on your daily game drives.

The safari experience is personal and intimate with only eight tents at each private campsite. Comfortable tents offer en-suite facilities with an al fresco bucket shower and toilet, crisp linens and crystal chandeliers. A romantic and elegant sitting and dining tent offers comfortable sofas and delicious meals can be enjoyed under a star-lit African sky.

Day 9 to 13 - Mnemba Private Island, Zanzibar

The end of the safari portion of this beach and bush combo takes guests, via light air transfer, to Zanzibar airport from where they will be driven to their beach resort destination. Mnemba Island is a tiny coral island 2.8 miles off the north-eastern tip of Zanzibar in the azure Indian Ocean. It is uninhabited apart from Mnemba Island Lodge. Surrounded by breath-taking coral reefs, it boasts some of Africa's most wonderful dive sites. Mnemba is situated near the Pemba channel which is renowned for its excellent big game fishing and supports tag and release fishing. Mnemba offers fantastic snorkelling with 168 species of fish found on the house reef just a five-minute swim from the lodge.

Mnemba Island Lodge retains its exclusivity by having only 10 beachside bandas. Hand-woven from traditional palm-matting, each secluded banda has a spacious veranda and is hidden in the shade of a tropical beach forest, fringed by the pristine beaches that halo the Island. A palm-covered walkway leads to an en suite bathroom with shower and basin.

Day 13 - Depart back to Arusha Airport

After the final four nights at Mnemba Private Island, guests are transferred by road back to the airstrip to take a scheduled light air transfer to Arusha Airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
