The melting snows of Kilimanjaro flow underground into the park and continually feeds water to springs, swamps, and marshes providing much needed hydration. This Park is known for huge wandering herds of the biggest elephants in Kenya. After 2 night in the Amboseli, you will move on to the famous Masai Mara where, between July and October, enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra can be seen on the annual migratory path between Kenya and Tanzania.

Days 1 to 2 - The Norfolk Hotel , Nairobi
After arriving at the airport in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi, you will be transferred by road to Fairmont the Norfolk Hotel, which is one of Kenya's finest hotels set in its own tranquil and private gardens, only a short distance from the city centre.
All 165 rooms at Fairmont The Norfolk hotel are luxuriously furnished and have plush carpeting with deep, velour soft furnishings. A variety of activities are available in the area to keep children and guests entertained including a visit to the Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum, Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, The Matbronze Art Gallery and Foundry, Kazuri Beads, and Nairobi National Park.
Days 2 to 4 - Porini Amboseli Camp , Amboseli National Park
On day 2, a road transfer will take you from Nairobi into Amboseli National Park where your accommodation for the next 2 nights is located. This park will be explored via day and night game drives, sundown walks with Maasai guides and a visit to the traditional local village.
Porini Amboseli Camp is situated in the Selenkay Conservation Area near the northern boundary of Amboseli National Park in Kenya. The 9 luxury safari tents are delicately positioned under the Acacia Tortilis trees. The large comfortable tents are furnished with double or single beds, solar electric lights and an ensuite bathroom with safari shower and flush toilet. This is a glorious natural alternative to what is usually expected, as there are no permanent structures; such as, a bar or a restaurant, and guests are invited to indulge in the open African surroundings.
Days 4 to 7 - Porini Mara Camp , Masai Mara National Reserve
On the fourth morning of the safari, you will bid farewell to the giant elephants of the Amboseli and transfer by charter flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a scheduled light air transfer to the Masai Mara, Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Upon arrival you are met and road transferred to Porini Mara Camp where you will spend the next and final 3 nights of the trip.
Mara Porini Camp is located less than 18km from the Masai Mara park boundary, giving it the perfect gateway into the famous park from their private conservancy. Porini means 'in the wilds' and the camp keeps true to its meaning - it is an open safari camp making it not uncommon for guests to receive nightly visits from grazing buffalo and elephant.
Day 7 - Depart back to Nairobi Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, you are transferred scheduled light air transfer to Nairobi Wilson airport in time for your onward travel arrangements.
