Introduction

On this classic 3-night safari, you will be introduced to Kenya's Amboseli National Park, which embodies 5 main wildlife habitats: open plains; acacia woodland; rocky thorn bush; swamps and marshlands.

Based in the private and exclusive Selenkay Conservancy, Porini Amboseli Camp offers a charming and traditional safari experience in the greater Amboseli National Park. The melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro flow underground into the park and continually feeds water to springs, swamps, and marshes providing much needed hydration in an otherwise very arid region. This fragile ecosystem supports an impressive wildlife variety and is known for huge wandering herds of elephants. Amboseli's elephants are said to be the biggest in Kenya and can be found in the swamps and open areas. Predators abound now and the park is a bird lovers paradise.
