Days 1 to 3 -
Savute Elephant Camp
, Chobe National Park
On arrival at Maun Airport you will take a light aircraft flight to the game rich Savute area of the Chobe National Park and to Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge. You will spend 2 nights at this beautiful lodge on a fully inclusive basis. Game drives are the activity of choice at Savute Elephant Lodge.
The luxury tents at Savute Elephant Lodge are on raised platforms with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Each private deck also has a day bed, a perfect spot for spotting game or a mid afternoon nap. The tents are beautifully appointed with an outdoor shower as well as an inside sitting area.
This part of the Chobe National Park is home to thousands of elephants plus other big game and is a wonderful part of Botswana to start your safari in!
Days 3 to 5 - Tubu Tree , Okavango Delta
After your morning activities and a sumptuous breakfast you will be transferred by light aircraft to Tubu Tree Camp for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis. Tubu Tree is built in the trees with elevated walkways connecting the tents and the main areas. The luxury tents all have lovely views over the floodplains from private decks and an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower.
Situated on the western side of the isolated Hunda Island, the activities at Tubu Tree include exploring the crystal-clear waterways of the Delta by mokoro or motorised boating. Game drives during the day and at night track big game, including leopards. Tubu Tree has the best placed bar in the Delta, the perfect place to soak up the surroundings.
Days 5 to 7 - Qorokwe Camp , Okavango Delta
From Tubu Tree you will fly to Qorokwe for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis plus game activities. The Qorokwe Concession is a high-density game area in the south-eastern section of the Okavango Delta. This area has great concentrations of lions, leopards and other large predators.
The elegant tents at Qorokwe are en-suite with indoor and outdoor showers. The main areas are all on raised decks overlooking a lagoon and is a luxury eco camp with a light carbon footprint.
Qorokwe offers guests game drives in open 4x4 vehicles during the day and at night, as well as nature walks. When the water levels are high you can explore the surrounding channels by motorised boating trips and mokoro excursions.
Day 7 - Depart to Maun Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, you will fly to Maun airport in time for your onward travel arrangements.
