Okavango Delta Safari

A safari for the traveller with limited time. A wonderful and relaxing experience for the nature lover. Around the campfire at night, beneath the stars, listening to the calls of the wild...in the heart of big game country. We stay in secluded, exclusive bush camps within the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. A professional safari guide conducts early morning and late afternoon game drives.

Itinerary

DAY 1: MAUN - BUSH CAMP

We are welcomed at Maun airport by our guide, and transferred to our camp near Maun. We relax around the campfire in the evening, under the bright stars of the southern hemisphere. (Dinner).

DAY 2/3: OKAVANGO AREA OF MOREMI
The reserve is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Okavango Delta. It is a pure wilderness area of great beauty with rich, green vegetation, palm trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of wild animals. We spend our time exploring the reserve during game drives and boat explorations on the channels and lagoons. (All meals).

DAY 4/5: MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE
We travel to the Khwai flood plains and enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. We have sufficient time to relax, read and unwind in this wilderness area. (All meals).

DAY 6: MOREMI - MAUN
We return to Maun and have lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). We transfer to the airport to board our onward flight. (Breakfast)

Serviced Camping

We provide quality 4 tent graded camping safaris for the discerning traveller to southern Africa. Scheduled safaris with accommodation in spacious dome tents aimed at travellers wanting to get close to nature and wildlife and who are searching for a rare wilderness experience in Africa. The guide and assistant/ cook take care of the camp duties including putting up and taking down the tents. Itineraries vary in length from 5 to 15 days and are suitable for clients interested in a quality, “in depth” look at the country visited. Due to the limited number of passengers, all our groups are pleasantly informal. A real safari in Africa awaits every participant!

The entire safari is guided and hosted by professional guides, who share their in-depth knowledge to present a seamless safari experience.

Exclusive experience

Group size is 6-9 participants or 10 -16 travelling in two separate vehicles.
