Introduction

Tanamera Lodge is situated on the hills of the Sabie River Valley, in the heart of the Lowveld forest. Tanamera offers deluxe accommodation and magnificent scenery. The ideal location of the lodge offers guests the opportunity to explore the area including sights such as God’s Window and Pilgrim’s Rest. The lodge is only a short drive from the world famous Kruger National Park.

Lodge Description

The main area at Tanamera Lodge consists of the reception, dining area, lounge and comfortable bar. The lodge also offers a main deck with loungers, a rim flow pool and magnificent views over the Sabie River & valley below. Dinner is normally served in the dining area. However, when weather allows it, tables are set outside on the main deck. During the cold winter months, the fire is lit in the fireplace and meals are served indoors. The lodge also offers four chalets which are fully serviced, and offers king-size beds with mosquito nets, stone baths, waterfall showers, fireplaces and private decks. Each chalet is secluded and private and surrounded by unspoilt African bush. Two of the luxury chalets also have their own private plunge pools. Meals can be served in the main lodge area, or privately in your chalet or on the deck. The fifth executive/honeymoon chalet has a king-size bed with mosquito net, stone bath, waterfall shower, fireplace and private deck, a private swimming pool and outdoor shower on the deck.

The lodge offers a variety of activities, however, pre-booking is essential. Activities include Quad bike trails, White water tubing, White water rafting, Horse riding, Hot Air Ballooning, Hiking Trails, Abseiling, Archery, Kruger Park Game Drives, Kapama Night Drives, Full Day Lowveld Panorama Tours as well as health and beauty treatments.
