Lodge Description

Singita Boulders consists of 9 suites with magnificent stone bathrooms as well as outdoor showers. Rooms are equipped with double- sided fireplaces, air- conditioning, mini bar, fridge and overhead fans. Game viewing decks and private plunge pools are also available. Singita Boulders Lodge boasts a lounge and timber deck dining areas, where guests can admire the views of the Sand River. The lodge also has a bar area and open boma, ideal for dinner under the stars. Guests can make use of the gym, health spa, library and swimming pools.

Game Viewing

Wildlife in the Sabi Sand Reserve lives up to its international reputation. Abundant in the Big Five; lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant and numerous other smaller creatures. The reserve is divided by the Sand River, an important source of water and a consistent place of refuge for the animals' endless migration. At Boulders guests can partake in game drives in open safari Land Rovers and guided nature walks on request. Guests can enjoy sunrise and sunsets and can watch night time predators hunt. The nocturnal safaris in South Africa open up a totally new world and a powerful spotlight illuminates the shy and sometimes rare wildlife. On night safaris when the heat of the day has subsided, the predators such as lion, leopard, hyena, black backed jackal and the owls start their hunting. Drinks are served in the bush at sunset as a gentle introduction to the nocturnal bush.
