Serengeti Safari Lodges

Serengeti National Park is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, and symbolises the classic African safari. With more than 2 million wildebeest, half a million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The Serengeti is also synonymous with the annual wildebeest and zebra migration.

The Serengeti National Park forms the core of this conservation region. It is surrounded by numerous reserves and concessions, including Grumeti Reserve and Loliondo. These together form a vast wildlife region collectively known as The Serengeti.

Grumeti River Camp

Grumeti River Camp is set in the western corridor of the magnificent Serengeti National Park on the banks of an oxbow which is formed by an overflow of the Grumeti River. Supporting lush riverine forest, the Grumeti River provides a sharp contrast to the surrounding plains and hosts some of the Serengetis more unusual species

Sasakwa Lodge

Sasakwa Lodge is situated on the top of Sasakwa Hill, with awe-inspiring views over the Serengeti plains. The lodge is built in the grand style of an English manor home.   It is situated along a rocky promontory perched above the rolling plains.

Serengeti & Loliondo Safari Camps

Both Serengeti and Loliondo Safari Camps are seasonally mobile and positioned to take full advantage of the Great Migration across the Serengeti plains. The camps are semi-nomadic - they wont move whilst youre there - but theyre actually on a wide orbit shadowing the migration; so you, your Tanzanian driver-guide and private 4WD vehicle are as close to a million wildebeest as possible.
