Game Viewing
The Masai Mara is the finest game reserve in Kenya. It boasts all the big game elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and buffalo. The black rhino and other commonly spotted animals such as zebra, wildebeest, Thomson'
s gazelle, eland and Masai giraffe are also permanent residents. This is also the only place in Kenya where topi is common. One of the best places to look for game is in the Mara Triangle in the western part of the Masai Mara. Lions can be found throughout the park. Cheetah is most often found in the short grass plains while the black rhino are highly concentrated in the Olmisigiyoi region of the centre of the reserve.
