SATAO CAMP
Tsavo National Reserve
Kenya
Introduction
The luxurious rustic Satao Camp is situated in Tsavo East National Park. The semi-circular layout of Satao Camp provides guests with an excellent view of the central waterhole.
Camp Description
The camp has 20 well positioned tents to ensure a full view of the camp's own waterhole. The tents are made up of 16 family tents and 4 suites. Each tent is en suite and constructed of sisal and boroti poles topped with a makuti roof. Only the front tens is visible as each tent has its own patio with table and chairs. The showers are in true African styles as hot water is brought in by the camp's staff.
Lunch is served under a 200 year old Tamarind tree. Dinner is served from the restaurant lounge area. After dinner you can share your safari tales around the camp fire or watch the animals from the observation tower.
