Imbabala Safari Lodge is situated on banks of the magnificent Zambezi River where Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia meet. The lodge offers a convenient location and easy access located 80 kilometers west of Victoria Falls; guests can access the lodge by road from Victoria Falls, Livingstone or Kasane. Imbabala Safari Lodge offers luxury accommodation and some of the best game viewing and bird watching in the region.
Imbabala Safari Lodge Description
Imbabala Safari Lodge offers luxurious accommodation and caters for only 16 guests in 8 individual thatch lodges with en-suite facilities. Each lodge offers a magnificent location with spacious verandas overlooking Zambezi River. Imbabala Safari Lodge has one standard suite with a tub and an outside shower, one family lodge, (Sleeps 4), three double and three twin-bedded lodges. All doubles can be converted to twins on request and vice versa; 220 Volt mains electricity is available. The main Lodge is built of thatch and offers a lounge, dining room and bar area offering beautiful views over the river and a nearby waterhole. Imbabala also has a swimming pool. Delicious meals are served either outside under the stars or in the open-fronted dining room.
Imbabala Safari Lodge Activities and Game Viewing
Activities at Imbabala Safari Lodge include tracking game on morning, afternoon and night game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles on the Imbabala Private Concession. Guests can also exploring the Zambezi River by boat. The birdlife is fantastic and ranges from water birds to shy forest dwellers. Guided Bush Walks are available by prior arrangement, as well as fishing excursions for the renowned Tiger Fish. For guests spending a longer time at Imbabala, day trips are offered to Victoria Falls and the Chobe National Park (additional charges are applicable for these non-scheduled activities). Experienced guides will accompany guests on all game activities.
