A Zambezi Canoe Safari offers an adventure of a lifetime and guests will camp and canoe down the spectacular Zambezi River, the 4th largest river and one of the greatest rivers in Africa. Canoeing is a unique experience unlike any other activity and usually no prior canoe experience is necessary. A canoe safari is enjoyed by guests who seek adventure and exercise whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the majestic Zambezi River. Wildlife on the lower Zambezi usually include plenty of hippos, crocodiles, lions, wild dogs, leopard, hyenas, elephant, buffalo, water- buck and many other antelope species. The guiding on these trips is superb and only experienced and professional guides are used to accompany guests. There are a variety of canoe safaris available on the Lower Zambezi and Mana Pools National Park consisting of three nights/four days or longer depending on guests' choice. Some trips offer a combination of canoeing and walking activities. Accommodation is usually offered in mobile tented camps with bucket showers and all meals and selected drinks are included. Camp staff is available to set up camp and assist guests with camp duties.
