Luangwa Safari House is situated in the magnificent South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Luangwa Safari House is a private house and accommodates up to eight guests. Guests will enjoy their own private chef and house manager and activities and meals will be designed around the guests' preferences. All activities are exclusive to the house guests and they will have the use of a private guide and vehicle. Activities at Luangwa Safari House include game drives, night drives and walking safaris. Luangwa Safari House is open from mid March to early January. Luangwa Safari House is suitable for families and children of 7 and older are accepted. Luangwa Safari House Description

The Luangwa Safari House is large, spacious and luxurious surrounded by breathtaking scenery and magnificent wildlife. Luangwa Safari House is built on the edge of a seasonal. On the outside the house offers a traditional feel. The rooms inside the house offer individuality as well as a unique style. The spacious living room offers large sofas and a big marble dining table. The open front of the room leads out onto a tiled terrace with large plunge pool to one side. From the terrace a raised walkway leads to a wooden deck surrounding a small group of huge ebony trees in the middle of the lagoon. Guests can enjoy meals here as well. The waterhole is situated only meters from the deck offering spectacular game viewing. Each of the four bedrooms contains large beds, both king size or twin fit into each room under one mosquito net. There is a wooden ceiling fan inside each net. Each bathroom offers a unique theme and offer modern amenities. The upstairs rooms have a suspended wooden balcony, where guests can sit out at night with a moonlit view over the bush to the distant hills. The downstairs bedrooms each have a private tiled verandah with large chairs for peaceful moments.

Luangwa Safari House Game Viewing

The South Luangwa National Park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and diverse and lush vegetation. The now famous 'walking safari' originated in South Luangwa National Park and is still one of the finest ways to experience this pristine wilderness first hand. There are 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species in the park. Guests can expect to see large elephant herds, reaching up to 70 in number. Buffalo are abundant and spread throughout the valley as well as hippos can frequently be seen along the river banks. Zebra can be seen running in small herds of about a dozen. Thornicroft's Giraffe is unique to Luangwa Valley and should be easily spotted. The park has 14 different antelope species, most of which are easily seen on game and night drives.
