Sussi and Chuma Game Viewing

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia is known by the locals as 'The Smoke that Thunders', referring to the mist of the falls that can be seen miles away and the roar of the water as it drops down into the mighty Zambezi River. Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is located in the southern most edge of Zambia on its border with Zimbabwe. The physical landmark which separates these two countries is the mighty Victoria Falls which can be viewed from both Zimbabwe and Zambia. The park is a wildlife sanctuary and well worth a visit if not only for the falls, but also for common species including elephant. On the northern bank of the Zambezi River, within the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park you can still see an old cemetery. Overall this small Zambian park is a must, if not for the wildlife then definitely for the mighty and misty Victoria Falls. Resident wildlife, such as hippo's and elephants are likely to wander through the Lodge grounds at any time. Guests can enjoy a wide choice of activities which adds to the attraction of this elegant and secluded retreat.
