Wildebeest Migration

The annual wildebeest migration normally passes through the western Serengeti and the Grumeti Reserve between May and June. This is one of the highlights of the annual migration as the wildebeest cross the Grumeti River and face the waiting crocodiles. The Grumeti always has good resident game, making it a good year round safari destination.
