Situated a mere 4km from Hluhluwe Town, and on the access road to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park, Ubizane Wildlife Reserve is an invaluable location for any tourist to experience wildlife while travelling in the surrounding area.
Ubizane Wildlife Reserve Highlights
Ubizane Wildlife Reserve consists of 1500 hectares of pristine African Bushveld; home to more than 450 species of birds as well as a large variety of wildlife including, White Rhino, Giraffe, Wildebeest, and most species of Antelope.
The rare and elusive leopard, wild dog and Hyena can also be seen. Excursions to the nearby big five Hluhluwe/ Umfolozi game reserve which are renowned for its great Rhino spotting, elephants, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and a great variety of other species.

How to Get there

Guests can also self-drive from Durban or Sun Safaris can arrange a road transfer for guests. The nearest town is Mtubatuba which is 48kms away. Adjacent to Ubizane Wildlife Reserve is the renowned Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest in Africa, where the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard) roam the bush.
