GocheGanas is situated approximately 29 kilometres south east from Windhoek on a hilltop offering magnificent views. GocheGanas is a luxurious bush lodge offering African-style thatched chalets with modern amenities, a lavish Wellness centre combined with the untamed wilderness of Namibia.
GocheGanas Description
GocheGanas incorporates local arts and crafts offering a taste of the Namibian culture. The lodge offers 16 completely private chalets under cool thatched roofs with spectacular views over the surrounding Reserve. GocheGanas offer luxurious accommodation consisting of one Crown Suite and 15 Elegant Suites. The Crown Suite offers privacy and exclusivity and caters for four guests; offering a master bedroom equipped with air-conditioner, television with DVD/CD system, mini-bar, telephone, an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath under skylight, as well as an outdoor shower. A timber deck links the unit to a spacious living and dining area with a couch-bed and en-suite bathroom. The 15 Elegant Suites offer private timber viewing decks and amenities including air-conditioning, television and DVD/CD system, mini-bar and telephone. All 15 rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a separate toilet and 10 of the suites offer twin beds and outdoor showers, whilst the other 5 rooms offer king size beds. The GocheGanas Wellness Village offers a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity where guests can restore and rejuvenate weary bodies and minds. The GocheGanas Wellness Village offers top of the range wellness treatments, products and services. Other facilities include eleven treatment rooms with state of the art equipment such as a crystal bath, hydrotherapy bath, a vichy shower etc, as well as a heated indoor pool, a cave sauna in a cathedral like masonry vault, a well-equipped fitness gym and fruit and juice bar.
Game Viewing near GocheGanas
GocheGanas is situated on a 6000 hectare Nature Reserve with 25 different wildlife species available. Activities include game drives and nature walks combined with the peaceful surroundings and magnificent landscapes of the reserve. Game drives are in the early morning and late afternoon and includes snacks and drinks. Qualified guides accompany guests and shares information on fauna, flora and interesting bird species. A variety of game can be seen in the Reserve including, steenbok, duiker, klipspringer, red hartebeest, wildebeest (blue), eland, Burchell's zebra, springbok, oryx (gemsbok), kudu, giraffe, waterbuck, warthog, Hartmann's mountain zebra (Endemic, one of Namibia's conserved mammals), square-lipped (white) rhinoceros, cheetah, leopard, caracal and black wildebeest.
