Kulala Wilderness Camp is located in the Namib Desert on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve. The highlight here is without a doubt its ever-changing red sand hills, the highest dunes in the world. Guests will experience spectacular views and the most magnificent sunsets.
Kulala Wilderness Camp Description
Kulala Wilderness Camp consists of 10 stylish chalets complete with private verandas, en-suite solar- heated bathrooms and sundecks, all on elevated platforms providing spectacular views. The main area is raised as well, built of canvas with thatched roofing and offers a cosy and intimate atmosphere, complete with a bar and traditional three-course dinners. Kulala Wilderness Camp has a swimming pool with breathtaking views.

The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world, wildlife here is fascinating with regards with how animals manage to adapt in these harsh conditions. Sparse yet thrilling to see are springbok, gemsbok, ostrich, bat-eared fox, the rarely seen aardwolf and many small fauna. Activities include excursions to the incredible dunes of Sossusvlei, early morning ballooning (at extra cost), guided walks and scenic nature drives.
