Mowani Mountain Camp offers 12 luxurious East African style safari tents with beautiful en-suite bathrooms and a private viewing deck offering magnificent views. The Suite at Mowani Mountain Camp offers the ultimate in luxury with a private butler, private dining, lounge and bar area. Mowani's main area consists of 6 thatched dome-shaped structures offering a bar, lounge and dining area. Guests can relax around the camp fire after dinner and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the bush and the night sounds of the desert. Mowani Mountain Camp also offers a pool and a sundeck where guests can relax and unwind.
Mowani Mountain Camp Activities
There are a variety of activities on offer at Mowani Mountain Camp. Activities in the Aba-Huab Valley include early morning guided nature drives and guests can expect to see indigenous game such as mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, desert elephant and ostrich. If you are lucky enough, Leopard and cheetah are also found in the area. Hiking is also available. Twyfelfontein offers rare Bushmen engravings and paintings. This magnificent archaeological site offers more than 2,500 engravings as well as various paintings, and is probably the finest example of rock engravings in Southern Africa.
