‘Footsteps Across The Delta’ is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp is small and intimate and guests will be able to explore this beautiful and diverse area either on foot or by mokoro. Fishing is offered throughout the year and guests will be accompanied by expert guides.

Footsteps Across the Delta Description
Footsteps is a comfortable private camp consisting of 3 ‘insect-proof’-tents accommodating a total of only 6 guests. The tents have a private bucket shower and bush toilet. Guests can enjoy the game viewing deck as well as bush diners around the campfire under the stars at night. There is a laundry service available and the “bush kitchen” is run by a talented chef that will cater for all appetites.
Footsteps Across the Delta Game Viewing
The Footsteps experience offers guests the opportunity to get their feet on the ground and explore the area with expert guides who know the area like the back of their hand. The emphasis here is on guided walking safaris; however game drives, mokoro excursions as well as fishing are also available options. The area offers incredible birdlife and game viewing opportunities. Guests can expect to see hippos and multitude of water birds. The plains game includes giraffe, zebra, tsessebe, impala, wildebeest and herds of lechwe and many more. Guests can also expect to see lion, buffalo, elephant, wild dog and cheetah as well as a multitude of general game in the area.

Xugana Island Lodge
Xugana Island Lodge is one of the oldest safari lodges in the Okavango Delta. The decor pays tribute to its heritage. Xugana is a comfortable safari lodge offering only bush walks and the water based game viewing activities.
Xigera Camp
Xigera Camp is located just outside the borders of the Moremi Game Reserve within the Okavango Delta. It is a classic water based camp and a bird lovers paradise. Guests can avail of a full range of safari activities year round due to Xigera being in a permanent water based location.
Mapula Lodge
Mapula Lodge is a community based safari lodge located in the far north west of the Okavango Delta. The lodge offers comfortable rustic accommodation, and is well known for fantastic wild dog sightings. Water levels vary at the lodge, depending on the flood levels, and the lodge offers a full range of safari activities including game drives, walks and mokoro rides.
Camp Okavango
Camp Okavango is a comfortable and affordable Delta camp located in a private concession. The camp focuses on walks on the islands and mokoro and boating activities. No game drives are offered. It is a classic Delta Camp and therefore has superb year round birding opportunities.
