Edo's Camp Game Viewing

The Kalahari Desert offers guests a different variety of wildlife than in the delta, animals that have adapted to the harsher environment of the desert providing an interesting contrast. After the summer rains arrive, the vast plains become one of the prime game-viewing areas in Botswana. Thousands of gemsbok, springbok and wildebeest migrate here, with plentiful lion, cheetah and jackal. Game viewing includes giraffe, brown hyena, warthog, cheetah, wild dog, leopard, lion, blue wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, red hartebeest and springbok. Guests are offered the unique experience of tracking rhino on foot. The white rhino in this area were introduced and have successfully integrated into the habitat. Guests will also go on cultural visits and walks with San families as well as day and night game drives.
