Introduction

Named for the elusive Puku antelope which never strays far from water, this beautiful camp among the trees overlooks a sweeping expanse of the fertile Kakumbi dambo (valley).

Here, the living is easy for both visitors and wildlife.Puku Ridge Tented Camp is small and intimate, built unobtrusively close to the wild.

Camp Description

Each of the six comfortably furnished safari tents has its own lavish bathroom which provides the option of taking a shower with the sun on your shoulders.

Spacious walk-in canvas safari tents with a wrap around view of the flood plains below. With Well-lit pathways cleared of undergrowth connect the tents to the main bar/lounge. The natural vegetation has been left as undisturbed as possible.

Game Viewing

There is a Full range of game drives and night drives offered in the South Luangwa National Park using open four wheel-drive vehicles driven by a knowledgeable guide.

Game to be seen includes Elephant, Lion,Leopard, Wild Dog, Buffalo and Giraffe. Guided Walks by a professional guide and an armed national parks scout.
