Introduction
Nestled into a rugged escarpment, Ol Malo Lodge is situated on the northern edge of the Laikipia Plateau. The area is home to approximately 50 different game species and 280 bird species.The resident greater kudu often comes to welcome you to Ol Malo, which is most befitting as this is the meaning of the place.
Camp Description
There are 4 uniquely built cottages spread out along the cliff edge.The thatched roof cottages with huge glass windows are built out of natural rock and ancient olive wood.Each cottage has a huge king size bed, en suite bathroom and private veranda.Some rooms are on a split level with the bathroom that open out onto a beautiful vista and the wild animals grazing down below.
Ol Malo also has 2 luxurious canvas tents with small elephant motifs around the lining.The en suite bathroom is made out of natural rock and a thatch roof covers the entire tent and veranda.
Ol Malo also boasts a comfortable sitting room with fire place, a private swimming pool situated on the cliff's edge and a dining room 'with a view'.
Game Viewing
Ol Malo is an unfenced camp in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya.There are over 50 species of animal and 280 species of bird life.Elephants, buffalo, giraffe, Grevy's and Burchell's zebra, gerenuk, hartebeest, Grant's and Thompson's gazelle, impala, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog can be found in the area.The game is wild and unused to human company which makes it all the more exciting when tracking animals.

Child Policy
Children are welcome. A listening service is available as well as face painting in local tribal colours, treasure hunting around the Ol Malo grounds, swimming races in the pool, cooking African meals on a bush stove and bush picnics.Children will also receive a gift pack on arrival at Ol Malo. This will include a safari journal, small gift and post cards
