Introduction
The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille is located in a private conservancy within the Naibunga Conservancy of the Laikipia Plateau. The Sanctuary offers breathtaking views of the craggy peaks of Mount Kenya, the Samburu sacred mountain Ol Olokwe, the Matthews Range and the Karisia Hills. It is names after Ol Lentille, a 1977 meter hill from where an astonishing panorama unfolds.
Camp Description
The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille consists of 4 architect-designed houses situated along the side of a wooded rock kopje. The houses are well spaced from each other to ensure absolute privacy. Each house has a unique interior, sitting room, dining room, butler's kitchen, garden, courtyard, viewing deck and en suite bathrooms. Some have plunge pools.
The Chief's House has 3 double or twin bedrooms in an African minimalist style. The Sultan's House, with its coastal Swahili touches sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. The Colonel's House has 2 double or twin room is decorated in 'Champagne' style. The Eyrie sleeps 2 people in one romantic bedroom with a spectacular circular bed. Each house has its own butler, valet, askari, guide and 4x4 vehicle.
Food is tailored to your tastes and served whenever and wherever you wish. There is a list of 24 great wines from the southern hemisphere. The club room is found in a rotunda with a soaring stained glass dome. Here you may read, write, relax or cha with fellow guests. Atop is the viewing deck which has an open fired, a bar and a GPS controlled telescope to bring the heavens even closer.
Game Viewing
The Ol Lentille Conservancy is a vital keystone in the protection of Laikipia and the greater Ewaso Nyiro ecosystems. Laikipia is the second largest ecosystem in Kenya after Tsavo. It is the richest ecosystem in Kenya in terms of endangered species and wildlife diversity. The conservancy is home to the endangered African wild dog, greater kudu, leopard, striped and spotted hyena and klipspringer.

To/From Nairobi: There are scheduled flights from Nairobi to Nanyuki with Air Kenya and SafariLink. Private charters are from Nanyuki or Nairobi to the Sanctuary's private airstrip or helipad.
