NKaya Game Lodge is situated in the heart of the Big Five game country adjacent to the Great Kruger National Park with over 10 000 hectares of pristine African Bushveld, this is Thornybush Game Reserve. Lodge Description

NKaya Lodge boasts four tastefully decorated double luxury suites with air-conditioning and en-suite facilities including a bath and shower. The lodge has the ability to accommodate eight single guests. Facilities include a boma area, swimming pool as well as conference facilities are available. The lounge, bar and veranda are decorated in warm earthy tones and allow guests to spend their time in between game drives and relax while catching up on some reading. The lodge also has a fully equipped spa. At the end of each day, the focal point of the lodge becomes the enormous fireplace in the lounge where guests can relax and listen to the night sounds of Africa as the animals come to drink at the floodlit waterhole.

Game Viewing

NKaya Lodge offers game drives in open Land Rovers and guided bush walks. Guests can expect to see lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and other general game on game drives. The bird watching is phenomenal in the area. The day begins with a game drive of approximately four hours, accompanied by a qualified ranger and tracker. The night game viewing is an experience of its own. Nocturnal sightings might include bush babies, the elusive genet, or predators hunting and stalking their prey.
