Introduction

Mara Siria Camp is a luxury tented camp situated on the top of the Siria Escarpment with unique and breathtaking views onto the plains of the Masai Mara Triangle and Mara River.

Camp Description

The camp comprises 8 tents with double beds, 2 family tents and 2 luxury Masai style Bandas. The tents are all en-suite and with a private veranda with great views over the Masai Mara. Solar panels provide electricity to the tents. The restaurant offers stylish cuisine – breakfast rolls are made to a traditional Bavarian recipe.

Game Viewing

The Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa. It is part of a massive ecosystem, contiguous with the Serengeti, divided in two by the vagaries of human geography. Wildlife is abundant throughout the year. You will see hundreds of thousands of gnu, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, giraffe, various antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and warthogs on game drives in the area. The birdlife is also excellent in the surrounding environs. The great wildebeest migration occurs every year from July through to October. More than 1.3 million wildebeest come together into a single massive herd in search of the fertile grass of the Masai Mara.
