The Mana Canoe & Walking Trail safari is a true nature experience and suitable for the more adventurous guest. Guests will be allowed the closest possible encounters with wildlife on the magnificent Zambezi River. The safari takes place in the heart of the Mana Pools area. Each night is spent camping on the banks of the Zambezi River. Game activities will either be on foot or on canoe and the experiences are classified as awe-inspiring. This safari is ideal for reasonably fit guests and all activities are lead by experienced and professional guides.

Victoria Falls/Victoria Falls Package

3 nights\4 days Mana Canoe & Walking Trail

Day 1 & 2 & 3: Mana Pools

On arrival at Victoria Falls airport, guests will be met by a representative and transferred by light aircraft to Mana Pools where they will be met and commence their Mana Canoe & Walking Trail for 3 nights. This safari brings guests very close to animals and is definitely not for the faint-hearted. It requires a more adventurous spirit.

Departures are every Monday or Thursday from May through to the end of October each year. The canoe trail starts with a flight from Kariba to Ruckomechi.

Guests paddle slowly down stream to their new camp sites which will be pre-erected prior to the groups arrival by our camp staff. Each night will be spent at a new camp site on the banks of the Zambezi River further down stream. At the end of the trail guests are flown back to Kariba.

Day 4: Victoria Falls

After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircraft back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
