Everyone is ensured unique insight and unbeatable camp atmosphere. The big game action is right at your feet and the drama of Africa unfolds right in front of you. Kuyenda is a great adventure alternative located in the remote area of the Park.

Camp Description

This is a quaintly luxurious camp that offers both comfort and an exclusively personal experience. It is perfect for small groups seeking an opportunity to explore on foot and a heightened wilderness experience. The service is unrivaled and authenticity of this camp provides for a memorable experience. Accommodation is provided for in 4 beautifully thatched rondavels, each having being furnished with a very large bed, an abundance of storage space, mosquito nets and en-suite facilities including a shower, toilet and wash basin.

These chalets are made from reed, thatch and wood which are entirely local materials and are taken down and rebuilt every year.

The stage is set as the abundant wildlife across the grassy plains carry on undisturbed and guests sit in the central dining area and bar overlooking these scenes. The age old essence is carried by Kuyenda which is run by the renowned safari guide Phil Berry.

Game Viewing

Aardvark, wild dog and the resident pride of 12 lion make their home in the park. The pack of lions have made a few kills within 50m of the camp in the past couple of years. Your senses are dramatically heightend as you walk along with the expert naturalist and armed guard experiencing the wildlife from a new angle.

Whether you choose walking safaris, day and night game drives or combination of both, Phil's knowledge and years of experience will provide you with one of the best safari experiences you will ever have.
