Kenya

Introduction

Kilaguni is the first lodge ever to be built in a Kenyan National Park. The lodge is located on a ridge in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro adjacent to a teeming waterhole which is visited daily by vast herds of elephant, buffalo and plains game. Kilaguni takes its name from a Kamba word meaning 'young rhino'.

Camp Description

The hotel comprises of 56 bedrooms and a fabulous veranda from which you can witness spectacular African sunsets. The magnificent views extend out over some of the most rugged scenery in the park with the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro looming above the mountains as a backdrop. Each room has an en suite bathroom with hot water. The timber decked open dining area is cool and tranquil in decor as it overlooks the vast plains displaying awesome scenery and foliage. The restaurant serves both African and international cuisine. Kilaguni Lodge also boasts a sparkling swimming pool.
