Kakuli Bush Camp South Luangwa National Park Zambia
Introduction
The seasonal Kakuli Bushcamp stands in a lovely spot, at the Luwi's confluence with the Luangwa.
There's a central thatched area with a small bar, dining table and comfortable sitting area, with a useful small library of natural history books.
Camp Description
Kakuli consists of five spacious walk-in safari tents with en suite facilities made from natural materials and set under a shady thatch roof at Kakuli Bush.
All of the tents overlook the river and have modern en suite bathrooms in the shade of huge trees.
Game Viewing
The South Luangwa National Park is home to Elephant, Buffalo and Lion alike. There are also regular sightings of various Antelope, Giraffe, Zebra, Puku, Bushbuck, Warthog and Baboons as well as pods of Hippo in the river.
Game viewing activities occur twice daily and guests are taken into the in open vehicles.
Night drives with a spotlight are one of the highlights of your Zambia tour of the Luangwa Valley, giving the chance to see nocturnal animals such as Hyena, Porcupine, Civet, Genet, Honeybadger and particularly Leopard for which the area is now famous.
