This comfortable 7 night safari explores the massive private Kwara and Kwando wilderness areas in northern Botswana. These areas offer frequent excellent sightings of predators and wildlife. Guests will have the opportunity, together with an expert guide, to truly get up close and personal with nature while on activities such as mokoro rides, power boating, guided walks and game drives with the highlight being off road game drives and night drives.

Itinerary

Maun/Kasane Packge

Day 1 & 2 & 3:-Kwara Concession-

On arrival at Maun airport, guests will be met by a representative and assisted to their light aircraft transfer to Kwara Camp where they will be staying for 3 nights. Kwara has permanent water all year round. Activities focus on Mokoro rides, power boating, guided walks as well as game drives with the highlight being off road game drives and night drives.

Kwara is located in the remote northern part of the stunning Okavango Delta within the private Kwara concession.The eight luxury safari-style tents are built on raised decks, within a grove of huge and ancient African Ebony trees.Like the other Kwando camps, Kwara offers exclusive and private traverse for all its varied activities.

Day 4 & 5 & 6: - Kwando Wildlife Reserve

After breakfast and morning activities, guests will be transferred by light aircraft to Kwando Lagoon Camp where they will be staying for 3 nights. Activities at Lagoon Camp focus on game drives, guided walks and river boat cruises with the highlights being off road game drives as well as night drives.

Lagoon Camp lies on the shady banks of the Kwando River among tall and ancient African Ebony and Marula trees, under the watchful gaze of the resident hippos. Lagoon Camp accommodates only 16 guests in 8 twin bedded luxury safari-style tents.Lagoon is famous as the best venue in Africa for wild dog viewing as the dogs have denned near the camp every year of the camps existence. These animals are generally very relaxed in the presence of vehicles, meaning the sightings are usually at close range and many guests have seen amazing action.

Day 7: - Maun

Today guests will be transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport in time for their onward travel arrangements. End of services.
