HONEYGUIDE MANTOBENI CAMP
Manyeleti Game Reserve
Kruger Park, South Africa

Introduction

Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp is situated on the border of the Kruger National Park in prime Big Five Country in the beautiful and unexploited 23000 hectare Manyeleti Game reserve. The camp offers exciting wildlife experiences, together with outstanding service and first-class cuisine.

Camp Description

Mantobeni Camp consists of 12 tents, offering twin or double beds, furnished in colonial style with enveloping leather couches. All tents have an open air, yet private bathroom en-suite, with a large custom made bath, double shower and separate toilets. In front of each tent a deck offers magnificent views of the river course. Mantobeni's colonial-style public area contains a large lounge, indoor and outdoor dining area with a central bar and well stocked wine cellar.
The public area leads on to a small swimming pool and surrounding teak deck from which guests can overlook the camps waterhole and the game it attracts.

Game Viewing

Expert game rangers will take guests on guided bush walks or game drives in 4x4 game viewing vehicles and they can expect to see the famous Big Five, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino as well as other general game, smaller creatures and many antelope species. After a game drive of approximately 3 hours, guests leave the bush and return to camp for mid-morning brunch. Afternoons can be spent relaxing by the pool or viewing passing game from the hide at the nearby waterhole. As sunset approaches, guests will venture into the African bush again for an evening's game viewing before being treated to a gourmet dinner and campfire stories back at camp. An evening game drive will last approximately 4 hours and include sundowners.
