Itinerary Maun/Maun Packge
Day 1 & 2: - Okavango Delta
On arrival at Maun airport, guests will be met by a representative and assisted to their light aircraft transfer to
Eagle Island Camp where they will be staying for 2 nights. Activities here are dependant on the water levels.
Activities include mokoro rides and boating, unless the water levels are too low. Guided walks and game drives are
also an option with the highlight being a sundowner cruise when water levels allow it. Hidden from the world, deep within Botswana's Okavango Delta, is the paradise we call Eagle Island Camp. Situated on the island of Xaxaba and surrounded by Illala Palms, the camp overlooks a lagoon fed by the tranquil waterways of the Delta. All luxury tents are housed on raised wooden platforms, offering great views, and shaded by a traditional African thatch roof. Eagle Island Camps serene watery base lends itself to quiet relaxation, contemplation and reflection. If, however, you are looking for adventure and excitement then Eagle Island will not disappoint.
Day 3 & 4: - Savute Marsh Chobe National Park
After breakfast and morning activities, guests will be transferred by light aircraft to Savute Elephant Camp where
they will be staying for 2 nights. Activities here focus mainly on game drives.
In the heart of the Chobe National Park, sometimes referred to as the elephant capital of the world, is the Savute - an area that personifies the eternal contrast of Africa. Where other two camps celebrate water and lush vegetation, Savute is an objective lesson in aridity. Rain is rare and water is precious.Situated in the arid Savute area, Savute Elephant Camp offers an oasis type setting in complete luxury.A dining experience second to none in a traditional Boma, best translated as a traditional meeting place, where senior tribe/community members would get together for the "Kgotla" or meeting.
Day 5: - Maun
Today guests will be transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
