Hotel Description

Accommodation

All rooms are tastefully decorated in ivory tones with natural cotton throws, teak wood finishes and Zanzibar carvings.  There are three room categories.  The Standard rooms are located further away from the sea than the other rooms, however enjoy a terrace and garden view.  The Deluxe rooms are equal in size to the standard, however have close proximity to the sea.  Deluxe rooms are located on the ground floor of bungalows and each have a terrace.  The Suites are located on the upper floor of the bungalows and each has a large balcony with sun beds.  Each Suite has a walk in dressing room and a larger bathroom with large terrace, private sunbathing area and a covered outdoor lounge area. 

All rooms are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms.  Each room is also equipped with a refrigerator and personal electronic safe.

Facilities

Zanzibar is famous for the abundant variety of exotic spices and fresh seafood. The cuisine features the freshest fish, the most exotic Spices and the natural fruits form the island.  Breezes makes the most of its location and natural resources.  Breezes Beach Club has 4 different dining options.  One of these is the unique opportunity for private beachfront dining for two in an intimate setting overlooking the Indian Ocean.  The three other restaurant offer different dining styles; The Salama Dining Room, the Sultans Table and the Breakers Grill, all of which offer fresh food prepared the Zanzibari way.

Breezes also offer a variety of beautifully appointed venues to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, with a selection of the finest wines and spirits.  Again, depending on what you are looking for, you can enjoy tea in the Chai room, a break from the sun in the Dhow Bar, a pre-dinner drink in the Safari bar, Sundowners on the beach or that after dinner whiskey and cigar in the Baraza Bar.

Activities

The Frangipani Spa is located in the tropical Gardens and offers a selection of health and beauty treatments. It also offers a beautifully decorated sanctuary for yoga and meditation.  The fitness and aerobics centre feature state of the art gym equipment and personalised instruction.

Breezes also offers a variety of marine activities; Beach Volleyball, Pedal boats and canoe hire.  It also provides daily snorkelling trips to the lagoon by boat, windsurfing and sailing. 

The Rising Sun Dive Centre is Breezes licensed PADI dive centre.  Experienced diving instructors can provide personalised instruction.

There are many places of natural , architectural and cultural interest to visit in Zanzibar.  Arrangements can be made for guided tours to the famous and historical Stone Town, the Spice Plantations, the Jozani Forest Reserve, the home of the rare Kirk's Red Colobus monkey or the dolphins at Kizmkazi.  Breezes offer two tours exclusive to the Resort.
