Itinerary Livingstone/Maun Package
Day 1 & 2: - Livingstone
On arrival at Livingstone airport, guests will be met by a representative and assisted to their road transfer to River
Club for 2 nights. River Club is a peaceful and tranquil hide-away situated on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Activities here include bird watching, boating, canoeing, game drives, elephant activities, fishing, guided walks and
horse riding. The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. It faces westward into the sunset and onto the Zambezi National Park on the opposite side of the river.Ten luxury thatched chalets accommodate a maximum of 20 people. The rooms overlook the Zambezi River, and have en suite facilities including a bath, shower, toilet and basin.Although The River Club is not a game lodge, the Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and Lion calls can often be heard at night.
Day 3 & 4 & 5: - Linyanti Wildlife Reserve
Today guests are transferred by road to Kasane airport where they will clear customs. From Kasane they will take a
light aircraft to Kings Pool Camp where they will stay for 3 nights. Kings Pool offers privacy as well as an excellent
wildlife experience. Activities include game drives, night drives, boating, guided walks with the highlight being 2
hides for close game viewing. Kings Pool Camp is located in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, bordering on the western boundary of Chobe National Park in Northern Botswana. Accommodation is in ten tented rooms with well~appointed, private bathrooms. Each room is built on a raised deck with wonderful views onto the Kings Pool Lagoon and its wildlife. The area is most noted for its very large Elephant populations, which can reach enormous densities in the winter months. Impala, Lechwe, Kudu, Zebra, Giraffe, Sitatunga, Sable, Roan, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Bushbuck and the smaller antelope are all found here.
Day 6 & 7 & 8: - Okavango Delta
After breakfast and morning activities, guests will be transferred by light aircraft to Vumbura Plains Camp where
they will stay for 3 nights. The emphasis in this area is on privacy and exclusivity. The camp overlooks a beautiful
floodplain and tents are built underneath cool, shady trees. Activities at Vumbura focus on game drives, guided
walks, mokoro rides as well as boating. Vumbura Plains (pronounced Vumbera) Camp is a luxury camp situated to the north of Mombo, in a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in the extreme north of the Okavango Delta. Vumbura Plains overlooks a vast, attractive floodplain and the rooms are built under the shade of cool and shady trees. Vumbura Plains has both the wetland and savannah species of wildlife - Red Lechwe, Waterbuck, Hippos, Crocodiles, as well as Sable, Kudu, Wildebeest and Tsessebe, who roam the open plains.
Day 9 & 10: Moremi Game Reserve
Today guests will be transferred by light aircraft to Mombo Camp where they will stay for 2 nights. Situated deep
within the Moremi Game Reserve on a scenic island, Mombo is exclusive and remote and offers guests an
unforgettable wildlife experience. Activities at Mombo focus on game drives. As a year~round exclusive wildlife destination (especially for predators), Mombo has a record unequalled in Africa. This area provides one of the highest quality wildlife viewing opportunities on earth. The bathrooms are en suite, including an indoor shower with hot and cold running water. There is also an outdoor shower. The main living area is under thatch and canvas.Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and all the major predators are common in the region. A large pack of Wild Dogs frequents the area around the camp and has been successful in raising many litters in recent years.
Day 11: Maun
After breakfast and morning activities, guests will be transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport in time for
their onward travel arrangements.
