We had a wonderful holiday in the South African safari. All the lodges were fantastic ,each of them unique and we have fond memories of them all. The transport was great and the drivers were punctual. However need to stress that timing is everything....Almost missed the first afternoon drive in Thakudu River lodge because we arrived a little late at 3.30pm from Mhondoro. The afternoon drive departed at 3pm but the driver was kind enough to turn back to get us. That was one of the most memorable drives we had and would be upsetting if we had missed that. Another feedback Thakadu river lodge is quite cold during winter even though the bed is heated with an electric blanket. The room has a heater that blows "cold air" because of the cold in the early morning and evening. They don't supply bathrobes. Thakadu serves the best food amongst the 3 lodges but has the worst ranger. They also threw in a bottle of champagne for honeymooners.

But all in all, you did a great job in putting in the itinery and arranging of everything. We had a most memorable honeymoon.
