Haina Kalahari Lodge, Xugana Island Lodge, Chobe Game Lodge
Our guests, Ursula and Bruce, returned from a Botswana Safari. They started at Haina Kalahari Lodge in the Central Kalahari Game Lodge. They, like most, loved it there! After Haina, they went up to the Okavango Delta where they stayed at Xugana Island Lodge before moving onto Chobe Game Lodge in the Chobe National Park. After the authentic tented experience of Haina Kalahari Lodge and Xugana Island Lodge they felt that Chobe Game Lodge was too much like a hotel. Their concerns have been noted and we do offer people various options when heading to Chobe.

Hello Celeste,
We are back in London. Just arrived this morning at 5a.m.
First , I like to say thank you for your reorganization with flights and lodges. You did a great job !
Overall we had a great time. Specially Haina was a big success. We had the lodge for ourselves only the owners came over the weekend . Very nice people and as they know Brett, I told them, what you did for us and that we are very pleased with your booking at Haina. Food was amazing. Game drive very rewarding. Adrian even took us out in the night to see lions with cubs. Great experience. I really felt sad leaving such a fantastic place. Will highly recommend it.Loved the tent we slept in.
Haina Kalahari Lodge – Kalahari lions
Okavanga delta was also a very nice place. Different , but as in Haina, the staff very friendly and enjoyable. Food was more European, but I think it’s difficult to cater for 20 people . Food was very good and we enjoyed it. The guides were funny and made us feel very welcome.
Xugana Camp Okavango
Chobe was another experience. For me too organized . Too many activities during the day. 2 nights would have been enough, as they repeat the activities. It was a hotel and just too perfect. Sleeping in a tent to hear birds and lions roar is more my thing. This game lodge is ideal for elderly people because of the attention you receive there. Food was also very good and friendly staff. Game drives a bit dull. Every time the same route, not sure why they could not explore the park in different ways. Also lots of cars came from outside the park and often we had 8 cars around.
Game activities at Chobe Game Lodge include boat rides to watch the huge herds of elephants come to drink
Haina was the best.Just everything there was amazing .
Next time, we need to make sure that we stay in tents only.Everybody spoke very highly about Moremi camp .
Maybe next time. We will come back one day to Botswana. Maybe with a combination of Namibia and Botswana.
