Camp Okavango, Camp Moremi in the Okavango delight – Client Feedback

The elusive wild dog at Camp Moremi
The elusive wild dog at Camp Moremi

Camp Okavango & Camp Moremi  was amazing!

Liselle’s guest Helen had an Okavango Delta adventure, staying at Camp Okavango and Camp Moremi. The focus at Camp Okavango is on game walks and mokoro rides , being in the middle of the Okavango Delta, no game drives are offered. Camp Moremi is more of a land based activity camp and offers game drives and is an excellent place to bird watch.

Here is Helen’s feedback:

Hello Liselle,

We really enjoyed the Okavango Delta, both at Camp Moremi and Camp Okavango!! We were delighted to come across a pack of very boisterous wild dogs at Moremi, especially when they took off after an Impala (which happily escaped) and the red lechwe, both of which we had not come across at the other games reserves we had visited. Also, of course, many hippo sightings, as well as lions, elephants, zebras, water buffalo, and the most incredible array of birds.

The opportunity to go on game walks at Camp Okavango was amazing, to be on foot observing elephants including a mother and baby, all less than 30 metres away…was very special!! Crocodiles were abundant and once again the birds were beautiful.

Yes we have thousands of photos, but here is one of my favorites: the elusive wild dog.

Thank you for helping us to experience the Okavango Delta!!

Kind regards,

Helen
