Pestana Bazaruto Lodge offers 40 beautiful A-frame thatched bungalows, tastefully decorated in ethnic island style, situated amongst leafy green gardens, with magnificent views of the surrounding area. Facilities in the rooms include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, a safe deposit box, voltage 220V, tea & coffee making facilities, a laundry Service, en-suite bathrooms with baths and complimentary toiletries, private open air shower and an outdoor porch with wood furniture. Guests can choose between Standard rooms and Superior rooms. Bazaruto Lodge offers a restaurant as well as a bar in the main area and offers delicious cuisine and tropical cocktails. Other facilities at Bazaruto Lodge include an outdoor swimming pool, a games room, pool table, table tennis and soccer game, Board games available at reception, a DVD and Video room, DSTV and a Business Centre, a library, Kids Club, Curio Shop and free shuttle per day to Dolphin Bay and baby-sitters can be arranged on request (24 hrs notice).

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge offers a variety of activities for guests to choose from including, diving, snorkelling, shore, fly and offshore fishing, Marlin fishing, Island hopping trips, picnics, Sunset trips by Land Rover, boat or local Dhow, bird watching, water-skiing and wake boarding. Marine species include dolphins, dugongs, humpback whales, marine turtles and the freshwater lakes in the area are home to crocodiles. The remarkable beauty of the coral reefs complements this subtropical ecosystem, enriched by the abundance and rare beauty of the tropical fish, clear water and fantastic surf, plus rock and fly-fishing. The archipelago is known as the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean".
