Benguerra Lodge Description
Benguerra Lodge offers 3 different kinds of accommodation including, the Cabanas, the Casitas and the Villas. The Cabanas are built on the edge of the beach and offers romantic and elegant accommodation, facilities include King-sized beds, a large bathroom with bath, shower and outdoor shower, mosquito nets and overhead fans, a private deck with Jacuzzi/plunge pool and sun loungers, a mini-bar as well as tea & coffee making facilities. The Casitas offer luxury and privacy as well as a homely atmosphere, where guests can relax and unwind. Each Casita offers a Queen size bed with mosquito net, a lounge area, private timber deck with plunge pool as well as an outdoor dining gazebo for starlit dinners. The Villa offers intimacy and exclusivity with a personal chef. The Villa has two double bedrooms with mosquito nets and overhead fans, en-suite bathrooms with beautiful copper baths, outdoor showers with intricate mosaic inlays, an intimate lounge and dining area, a private wooden deck and swimming pool as well as direct beach access. The main lodge consists of a large reception area and a gift Shop, lounge and bar, dining room, all with large wooden decks and indoor and outdoor seating areas. There is also a Swimming Pool and small Spa.
Benguerra Lodge Activities
There is a variety of activities to enjoy on and around the Island. Guests have the choice to explore the island either on foot or in an open land rover accompanied by an experienced guide. Activities include Fishing, Dhow cruises, Picnics, Land-rover trips, Bird watching, Island walks, Village visits, Sea kayaking, Yacht day trips as well as Horse Riding.
