Makuzi Beach Lodge offers comfortable thatch and stone chalets situated in beautiful manicured gardens overlooking Lake Malawi. Each of the ten chalets is tastefully decorated and offers en-suite bathroom facilities. All chalets overlook the bay and are only meters away from the warm, clear waters of Lake Malawi. Makuzi Beach Lodge welcomes families with children and separate beds can be prepared within the chalets. Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis and activities are at an extra cost. The main lodge area overlooks the bay and delicious dinners are served in the restaurant. Romantic candlelight beach-dinners can also be arranged for a more private affair. Guests can also enjoy sundowners at the Mphandi Kucha Bar offering the ideal setting with magnificent views.

Lake Malawi is renowned for its abundance and diversity of fish life and is home to a greater variety of freshwater fish species than any other lake on Earth and more than all of Europe and North America combined. Activities on offer at Makuzi Beach Lodge include safe swimming, snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, Scuba Diving, (a PADI resort is available off site) yoga, bird-watching, horse-riding on the beach as well as cultural excursions.
